Description The life of forest Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of Bangladesh become at stake now. It happened owing to encroached upon their land and lively foods in many ways. There is a common feature for these people that they are socially alienated, economically exploited and politically dominated. They are constantly struggling for their survival as well as identity. Forest is particularly important in the context of self way of life for these people. But forests become out of control of them. Deforestation added a new dimension regarding this. It becomes very difficult to run their self lifeway. In this perspective the traditional forest communities of Bangladesh face an uncertain future. This paper puts forward certain specific reasons which enhanced the marginalizing process of the forest IPs.
