Purpose: This paper shall analyze the different factors of attrition in Indian private Insurance companies and the employee retention strategies which are being adopted by these companies.Research Methodology: Through Questionnaire method via mail and courier to various insurance companies. Through personal interview with various HR personnel of Insurance companies. Through search of various studies already been done in this sphere, and giving an overview in light of them. Running this information collected on SPSS software and analyzing the results. Findings: There is a cut throat competition in the Insurance companies. So, the workforces face a tremendous pressure to achieve its targets and if they couldn’t achieve the targets, either organization terminates them or they leave the job on their own.Originality/value: This will be implicated by entire study which will be highlighting both employer and employee’s relations, working and expectation fulfillment.
