Description In the global scenario, a comparatively new trend is extensively coming up that is use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education, especially in school education. The role of ICT in education is becoming more significant due to the effective digital media and information dissemination. The digital media coupled with the Internet will continue to grow and develop in the 21st century. This research study focuses on implementation of ICT in schools under Zilla Parishad. The Zilla Parishad is the sole nodal agencies that govern schools in the district. The objective of study is to investigate whether the Zilla Parishad are encouraged this boom, in order to improve the teaching learning evaluation process, by imparting quality education through motivational learning environment. Besides this, the study also focuses on investigating the problems faced by the Zilla Parishad and efforts put in by Zilla Parishad to bring the revolutionary change in traditional educational systems. The problems that are studied include Limited latest innovative technology skills, Limited infrastructure, Limited funds, Lack of practical knowledge and Lack of understanding power.
