This article aims to examine the economic life of the population of the United Arab Emirates from the recent past to the present when the state is transformed and becomes the most attractive and highly desirable destination for investors and millions of wealthy tourists from around the world. Throughout this period the life of the Arab population is flowing rapidly, developing agriculture, trade, inland and maritime navigation, the system of education and social life. On the basis of some main sources, the study describes the religion, lifestyle, crafts, holidays of Arab nation, and some of other activities. Interest in this topic is primarily due to the fact that the life of this nation is covered with something like a mystery, with marvelous mystique and the question arises what were they - people from fairy tales or ordinary working people living in harsh conditions.Key words: tourism, economic development, history, culture
