The purpose of this research paper is to analyze the new nightmare policies and their outcomes in Indian economy. The study also relates the economic growth of India with the employment opportunities in India. The given paper covers briefly how some of the factors like Gandhian Approach, India’s Agricultural Potential, Funds for Rural Development : ‘Growth, Emoluments of the Bureaucracy and Luxurious living at the cost of masses’, Labour –Intensive Decentralized Industry : ‘More Production and More Employment through Cottage and Small Industries, Promotion of Democracy and Avoidance of Wide Income Disparities’, Trusteeship, The Middle Path of Self Employment, Concrete Measures for Employment : ‘Agriculture, Manufacturing Industry, Industrial Progress, Roads Transport and Construction, Service Sector’, affects the above mentioned problems directly or indirectly. The authors have touched the above factors briefly by analyzing the data till now as these factors have shown how modernization has resulted in a collapse of India’s rural economy after the end of foreigner’s rule, how we have diverted from huge real resources and basic minimum needs of the poor’s on this poorest land on earth.
