Description This  correlational study  intended  to  determine  the  relationship  between  EFL  learners'  writing performance  and  their  writing strategy use,  self-esteem  and  grammar knowledge. After determining the convenient sample of the study among M.A. students (n = 120) in Islamic Azad University of Ahar the questionnaires and tests of the study were giving to the participants in order to gather the data. So doing the English writing test, self-esteem questionnaire, Nelson proficiency test, and English writing performance test were given to the participants. The gathered data were analyzed through multiple regression method.  There were three fidnigns in this study. First, it was found that writing strategy use, grammar knowledge, and self-esteem have a significant relationship with EFL writing performance. Second, it was found that grammar knowledge and writing strategy use predicted the percentage of students who scored better on the EFL writing test and grammar knowledge is the best predictor of EFL writing performance. Third, it was found that self-esteem failed to predict any significant percentage of learners’ writing performance. The findings of the study can have implication for EFL learners and instructors.
