Description Based on the theoretical analysis, with first-hand data collection and using multiple regression models, this study explored the relationship between social support, socioeconomic status and well-being. We draw on the following conclusions: (1) Family support and general support of others have positive influences on general well-being. And these influences largely remain constant for the sampled subjects regardless of their socioeconomic status. (2) One dimension of socioeconomic status (family annual income) has a positive influence on general well-being. But in consideration of the social support and interaction terms of socioeconomic status and social support, this influence is no longer significant.
