Description |
The utility of interdisciplinary concepts such as metacontingency and macrocontingency and the points of contact and departures between behavior analysis and cultural are the topics of this paper. We provide an examination of the levels of analysis involved in the behavioral contingency and the metacontingency, and the parallel between these two types of contingency. In doing so, we suggest a set of refinements to the metacontigency that would bring about a greater parallel of this concept with the behavioral contingency as well as a greater consistency of the associated levels of analyses.
