Description |
The collective work conflict is defined in the Romanian legislation as the conflict that occurs between employees and employers, which is to start, conduct or completion of negotiations concerning contracts or collective agreements. The strike, as a protest during the course of collective work conflict is a cessation of work aiming at achieving professional demands, claims that the employer refuses to satisfy. The claims must follow certain procedures and conditions according to their type. As we observe the evolution of conflicts of interest was one decreasing in the period between 2008 and 2013, most conflicts of interest were recorded in 2008 on the grounds that our country entered into an economic crisis of large proportions which required measures as budgetary cuts and collective redundancies. Regarding the strike actions, since 1992 they have seen an upward trend until 1994, a downward trend from 1994 to 1997 then followed again by an increase in their number until 1999. From 1999 until 2015, the number of strikes experienced small fluctuations from year to year, 2003 recording most of the strikes in the entire period 1999-2003.
