Description In this dissertation, the researcher investigates the structural influences of contingency leadership on job satisfaction of  village health volunteers in  Saraburi. It was conducted by the mixed method: quantitative research and qualitative research.  For quantitative research, 350 village health volunteers in Saraburi were randomly selected and responded to questionnaire.  The instrument was a 5-point Likert scale.  Its questions were partly adapted from the results of thai and international research that published in the academic journal.  For quantitative research, descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation were employed to analyzed the collected data. In addition, PLS (Partial Least Square) a program for structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses. Regarding qualitative research, 20 prominent village health volunteers in Saraburi Province were purposely selected to participated in the in-depth interview. The interview information was analyzed   and   interpreted   by a content analysis.It was found that village health volunteers’ job satisfaction, as a whole, was at the high level.  For factors influences the job satisfaction, the results showed that job participation was the highest total effect, empowerment was the second and contingency leadership was the least. For a direct effect, the results indicated that job participation was the highest direct effect, contingency leadership was the second, work empowerment was the least. For an indirect effect, empowerment was the highest effect, contingency leadership was the second. Overall, contingency leadership was at the high level.  This factor influenced on empowerment and participation.  Moreover, empowerment, as a whole, was the high level. It influenced participation.  Finally, job participation, as a whole, was the high level and it influenced job satisfaction. For qualitative research, village health volunteers have given their opinion that contingency leadership is critical to expression by  the  role  in   each  situation, because it was supported everything i.e. information,  knowledge,  resources It leads to a real participation which will increase job a success, happiness and job satisfaction eventually.
