Description |
In the fall of 1995, leaders of labour and progressive organizations woke up to find that the people of Ontario had elected what would be the most regressive right wing government the province has had since the 1930s. Once it became obvious the Harris government would waste no time implementing its agenda - an agenda which would surely spell disaster for the more than forty years of achievements made by and for working people - the labour movement acted immediately to put together a strategy to fight back and encourage resistance.
