We present a Model that reflects Keynes' intuition concerning nominal wage rigidity: workers like to keep their relative status on society. Several results are presented, including the analysis of the influence of risk aversion. The appendix has two new results on symmetric games.
O artigo apresenta um modelo que formaliza o argumento de Keynes sobre a rigidez nominal dos salários. Vários resultados são obtidos, dentre eles o efeito da aversão ao risco dos trabalhadores. Além disso, provam-se resultados auxiliares sobre equilíbrios de Nash em jogos simétricos. |
