Title Tourism Identity Factors Affecting the Success of Tourism Management in Chang Ta Kang Village, Surin Province

Description The research aims to identify the tourism resources identities of Chang Ta Kang Village in Surin Province and examine the relationship between tourism resources and the tourism management success. This research used the mixed methodology by utilizing the survey questionnaire to gather data from 400 Thai tourists and the structured interview selected from 20 Chang Ta Kang Village tourism stakeholders. The study used t-test, F-test (ANOVA), and Multiple Regression Analysis to analyze the data. The findings revealed six categories of Chang Ta Kang village identities, namely: 1) wooden house 2) local food 3) local products 4) tradition and culture 5) tourism activities, and 6) tourism attractions                The Chang Ta Kang Village tourism resources identity had a positive correlation with the success in tourism management. The tourist attraction aspect was found to be the most powerful factor affecting the success of the tourism management, followed by the aspects of tourism activities, tradition and culture, and local food respectively, whereas the aspects of wooden houses and local crafts were not found to be statistically significant at .05.
