This paper aims to analyze the social indicators presented in the Social Balance of the ELETROBRÁS System. Still, the term social and environmental responsibility is quite evident even in the absence of a standard called the Social, not even a law requiring companies to publish it. The Social was created to publicize the social and environmental responsibility of organizations and their degree of involvement with the society to which she belongs. In this sense, the opportunity to examine the evolution of social and environmental indicators using research as a source of the last three social reports provided by ELETROBRÁS (2006-2008). In the methodology we used the case study method, and information processing we analyzed horizontal and vertical balances. As a result, it was noted that the company discloses the Social following the standard model of the Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analyses (IBASE) ten years ago. The results demonstrated the commitment and involvement in putting into practice the issues of social responsibility. Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os indicadores sociais apresentados no Balanço Social do Sistema ELETROBRÁS. Ainda assim, o termo responsabilidade social e ambiental está bastante evidenciado, mesmo não existindo uma padronização do chamado Balanço Social, nem mesmo uma legislação que obrigue as empresas a publicá-lo. O Balanço Social foi criado para tornar público a responsabilidade social e ambiental das organizações e seu grau de comprometimento com a sociedade a qual está inserida. Nesse sentido, surgiu a oportunidade de analisar a evolução dos indicadores sociais e ambientais utilizando como fonte de pesquisa os três últimos balanços sociais disponibilizados pelo Sistema ELETROBRÁS (2006 a 2008). Na metodologia foi utilizado o método estudo de caso, e para tratamento de informações foi realizada a analise horizontal e vertical dos Balanços no período acima citado. Como resultado, observou-se que a empresa divulga o Balanço Social seguindo ao modelo padrão do Instituto Brasileiro de Análises Sociais e Econômicas (IBASE) há dez anos. Os resultados demonstraram o empenho e comprometimento em colocar em prática as questões relativas à responsabilidade social. |
