Description ABSTRACT:Empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for women, men, families and communities. The present paper is concerned with the study of the variance  of women’s empowerment  in Asia across the countries. Using six variables of women’s empowerment  and with the help of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), the paper attempts to answer a question whether there is a significant GDP per capita growth effect and literacy growth effect  on women’s empowerment  across countries of Asia during 1991 to 2013  and shed some light  for management  of women’s empowerment  . The significance of the GDP per capita growth effects and literacy growth effects on  women’s empowerment  is confirmed using MANOVA test statistics.
