Description The importance of the humanities in the realization of twenty-year vision of the country is evident to the experts in science and technology. Undoubtedly, the promotion of products in this area of science can pave the scientific path of country toward the highest goals of political system. It can be clearly claimed that there is a priority of other sciences than Humanities, even in the area of cultural and social decisions.  In addition, the inefficient system of valuation and rating scientific activities in the humanities fields, aversion of the plurality in thought and the lack of self-confidence are the barriers to the progress of this science, which has finally led to this issue that it is not problem- oriented. In other words, the humanities exist but they are unable to answer to tangible issues. However, given the importance of the humanities in all aspect of human life, the production of this science is slowly and its application is not acceptable. In the present study, we have tried to analyze the role of the humanities in knowledge production and state the critical approach in the area of Humanities.
