The study aimed to investigate the impact of effectiveness of performance appraisal system onemployees' performance. This is ascribed to the fact that the approach of performance appraisal is one ofthe administrative approaches in the field of human resources management. This approach may be usedto improve performance, productivity, satisfaction of employee and customer and increasingorganizational efficiency. Reaching the main aim of the study required a review of the previous studies,and three questions were examined. A survey was conducted on a study sample comprising the employeein all levels of management in private sector companies, Riyadh, which total (420) employees.The studyemployed descriptive research and statistical analysis methodologies, including desk and field research toacquire data through the survey, which constituted the primary data source. The study used the necessarytests to measure the validity and reliability of the study.After the testing of the study questions, the resultsshowed that there is a relationship between effectiveness of performance appraisal system and employees'performance.
