Description Linear mixed-effects models are indispensable tools for analyzing balanced and unbalancedstructured data in educational, medical, actuarial and social behavioral research and give us extraflexibility in developing the appropriate model for the data. This paper introduces a mixed two- wayanalysis of variance with fixed university effect and random time effect. The maximum likelihoodestimates of the structural parameters are obtained. The proposed model is used to analyze Saudizationratios (Saudi faculty members in total)data in three public universities in Saudi Arabia. Keywords: Linear Mixed-Effects Model; Restricted Maximum Likelihood Estimators; SaudizationRatios; Theil Statistic.
