Description บทคัดย่อ            การศึกษาในครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาระดับความสุขของประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร และผลของความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจสังคมที่มีต่อความสุขของประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร 1,000 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามคุณภาพทางสังคมของประชากรไทย พ.ศ. 2552 ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพรรณนาเพื่ออธิบายลักษณะทางประชากร และระดับความสุขของประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์สถิติถดถอยพหุหลายขั้น เพื่อศึกษาผลของความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจสังคมที่มีต่อความสุขของประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร  ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจัย สำคัญที่ผลต่อความสุขในชีวิตของประชากรในกรุงเทพมหานครมากที่สุด คือ การมีเงินออม  (β = 0.266) รองลงมาได้แก่ ภาวะสุขภาพในปัจจุบัน (β = 0.222) และความพึงพอใจในสภาพแวดล้อมที่อาศัย (β = 0.212)  จากผลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้รัฐควรเร่งดำเนินการจัดตั้งกองทุนการออมแห่งชาติ เพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับผู้มีรายได้น้อย  ควรให้การส่งเสริมการดูแลสุขภาพของประชาชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง และควรกำหนดมาตรการในการดูแลสภาพแวดล้อมที่มีประสิทธิภาพและมีการบังคับใช้อย่างจริงจัง เพื่อรักษาระดับของสภาพแวดล้อมของกรุงเทพมหานครให้อยู่ในระดับดีอยู่เสมอ ในการศึกษาครั้งต่อไปควรทำการศึกษาเพิ่มเติมถึงผลของคุณภาพสังคมในด้านอื่น เช่น ความสมานฉันท์ ที่มีต่อความสุขของประชากรกรุงเทพมหานคร และควรขยายการศึกษาออกไปยังประชากรในพื้นที่อื่น ๆ ของประเทศคำสำคัญ: ความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจสังคม  ความสุข  ประชากรในเขตกรุงเทพมหานครAbstractThe objectives of this study were to study the level of happiness of Bangkok residents and the effects of socio-economic factors on their happiness. The sample consisted of 1000 Bangkok residents. The data were collected by using the Standard Questionnaire for Thai Social Quality in 2009. Data analysis was made by using  descriptive statistics to describe demographic characteristics and the level of happiness of Bangkok residents, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis to assess the effects of socio-economic factors on their happiness. It was found that the important factors affecting to happiness of Bangkok residents were  amount of saving (β = 0.266), followed by health (β = 0.222) and satisfaction with the environment of the residence (β = 0.212), respectively. It was recommended that the government should urgently launch the National Saving Fund to build economic security, especially for low income people and continuously enhance the health care promotion. Moreover, the government should impose and strictly enforce protective environmental measures to maintain the good environment. Further studies should focus on the effect of other social characteristics, such as Social Cohesion, on happiness of Bangkok residents and expand the study to other geographic areas of the country.Keywords: Socio-economic Security, Happiness, Bangkok Residents
