The International Journal of Business and Information (IJBI, print ISSN 1728-8673, e-ISSN 2520-0151 and DOI 10.6702/ijbi ), an official publication of the International Business Academics Consortium (IBAC), is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary and multifunctional academic research and management practices across business and information technology (IT) or information systems (IS). During 2006-2013, IJBI published two issues per year. Since 2014, IJBI has become a refereed quarterly published International Journal. Because IJBI seeks to contribute to the integration of the fields of business and information, papers in the areas of business and information, management and technology, and theory and practice are highly welcomed for publication in IJBI. To achieve a broad range of academic and professional topics, we also invite cases studies providing new conceptual or theoretical insights for academics, practicing managers, or information consultants, if they contribute to a better understanding of business or IT/IS practices. This Journal provides an international forum for the discussion and rapid dissemination of research findings in theory and practice related to IT and/or IS. The journal places particular emphasis on the publishing of papers reporting applied research based on questionnaire-based studies. Reviews of relevant areas of literature will also be an important and integral part of the journal. To facilitate collaboration and communication among researchers, innovators, practitioners, and administrators in the field of IT and IS in academia, business, industry, and government, the Journal is committed to complete the review process in 4-6 weeks after receiving the submission. The prompt publication of high-quality articles is the journal's first priority. All contributions are submitted 'blind' to at least two independent referees before acceptance for publication.
