Ekonomika

The academic journal Ekonomika (Economics) publishes original research, theoretical articles and economics and business related issues. Major attention is given to the articles, assessing and analyzing the current economy, sectoral situation and development of business strategies for local and foreign markets, which contributes directly to Central and Eastern European economic development. In addition, the journal publishes studies which are devoted to the practical regional economic issues relating to integration into the European Union, reviews new books and research projects, other academic topicalities. Ekonomika has been published since 1960, and was initially issued by Vilnius University. From 2009 the journal has been published in cooperation with Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiyv (Ukraine).
